I remember you Sal, I am sorry you have lost a son, and I another cousin. I wish I could have visited you when I was there last October. I did not get to visit as much as I wanted. I was staying in the home of Gene Walton. I wish I could remember everyone back there as good as I did you Sal.Sorry to the whole family for your loss.

My deepest deepest sorrows to all of you. I just wanted to let you know what I learned and loved from Donald. To laugh often and much;To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appriciate beauty in every little thing; To find the best in others;and to leave the world a far better place for being in it whether by healthy children and relationships, a great garden or a redeemed social condition to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. That was Donald in my eyes. Thank you Donald for being you!!!

Sal and Family, I am so sorry about Donald. He was always the nicest thing on earth to me when I was around him. He just was sweet natured. We all have our challenges here on earth but the Lord has his ways of doing what is right. He had two children that I know you are very proud of. I think so often of Mr. aand Mrs. Bonds and the personal challenges they had. But, they were good people. I just wish they had known my children as they are now. They would have been so proud of them. And they had a hand in what they turned out to be. My kids are my life. Sonny will always be a part of that. I want them to know that they were Bonds'. My Mom is not doing very good right now. So, their heritage is so important to me. I want their family to mean someting to them. I miss seeing you. Brenda Bonds

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Walton family. It was alwys fun to be around Donald as a kid. I can still see him using a long pole to push his boat on the St. Francis River on cold mornings to get to that duck blind early.
