Lorraine Reece

Mrs. Lorraine Reece was born on Sunday, June 12, 1932, daughter of the late Robert I. (Bob) and Bessie Pritchard Beasley. Mrs. Reece died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 77 years 9 months and 30 days. She was born in Booneville, Miss., and had lived in Trumann for 59 years coming from Booneville, MS. She was a homemaker and member of the Providence Baptist Church. Mrs. Reece was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Harles Reece of the home; three sons, Harles Junior Reece and wife Linda, and Scotty Dale Reece both of Jonesboro, and Stevey Joe Reece of Trumann; one brother, Robert and wife Yvonne Beasley of New Site, MS; one sister, Evelyn and Bob Jindra of Beawyn, IL; five grandchildren, Jeff Reece, Jon Reece, Jessica Davis, Carson Taylor and Chris Taylor, and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Ark. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Reece, Jon Reece, Eric Davis, Carson Taylor, Chris Taylor and Mike Beasley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Williams, Kenneth Duvall, Jim Fowler, Russell Partain and Doug Pankey. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.
