Ruth Ann Estes

Mrs. Ruth Ann Yarbrough Estes was born on Wednesday, January 30, 1952, daughter of Thomas Earl and Kathlyn Williams Yarbrough Jr. Mrs. Estes died Monday, February 8, 2010 at the family residence, at the age of 58 years 0 months and 9 days. She was born in Jonesboro, Ark., was raised in Trumann and had lived in Southaven, Miss., before moving back to Trumann seven years ago. She was a journalist and member of the Viva Drive Church of Christ. Mrs. Estes was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Earl Yarbrough Jr., and one sister, Sarah Yarbrough Pickering. Survivors include three daughters, Ann Marie Karaki of Birmingham, Ala., Elizabeth Adams of Hernando, Miss., and Mary Church of Southaven, Miss; two sons, Jeff Estes of Paragould and Ben Estes of Southaven, Miss., her mother, Kathlyn Yarbrough of Trumann; one brother, Tommy Yarbrough of Cherokee Village; five grandchildren, Jordan Adams, Makenna Estes, Mary Emma Estes, Addison Estes and Madelyn Karaki. Funeral service will be Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Joe Bright officiating. Burial will be private in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.
