I am shocked and saddened to hear about Ms. Verna's passing. I once taught with her for about 13 years. I have quite fond memories of our times and experiences together. She was a lovely person to me, a loyal friend with a sweet sense of humor. I truly share the pain her family and friends must have. May eternal peace be with you, Verna, goodbye friend!

I am so sorry to hear of Verna's death. Verna was married to my Uncle Bill Hannon and was a kind aunt to me growing up. I became a teacher because of her and her love of children and education.

Was stunned and saddened to learn of Verna's death. She was a fellow classmate at THS. Have enjoyed seeing her at various reunions and corresponding with her through the THS class of 59 email network. She will be missed.
