To all of the Valentines, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. Marolyn and I enjoyed visiting with her while Robert was across the hall from her at St. Elizabeth's. The last time I saw her was from across the dining room and she waved and gave me a big grin. She told us one day that we just did not look like we were supposed to 'cause we were not supposed to be gray-headed ladies. Visiting with her brought back many memories of the old days at McCormick.

I just would like to express my sympathies to your family. I was honored to have cared for Mrs. Valentine at St.Elizabeths Place. She was a beautiful and lovely woman and so sweet to everyone. She will definatly be missed by all!

I saw her right after dad's funeral and she was smiling and said she had no pains of any kind. Nice to know it was peaceful like dad's.
