Lucille Morrison

MARKED TREE - Mrs. Lucille Blake Morrison, 91, of Marked Tree died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Willowbend Nursing Center in Marion, Ark. She was born and a lifetime resident of Marked Tree, was a retired business owner and a member of the Victory Church. Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Doyle Morrison in 1980, one brother, Buddy Blake, and her parents Jake and Ella Carr Blake. Survivors include one sister, Mary Blake Smith of West Memphis; three nephews and four nieces. Funeral services will be Saturday, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Ark. Active pallbearers will be Alfred Moody, Jerome Alford, Adam Cupples, Drew Smith, Burney Warren, and Greg Lackey.
