Mrs. Susan Olia Deboard was born on Friday, March 17, 1922, daughter of the late Charlie Ben Prichard and Ella Mae Sloan Prichard Curry. Mrs. Deboard died Friday, June 26, 2009 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 87 years 3 months and 9 days. She was born in Paragould, Ark., and had lived her lifetime in Trumann. She was a former employee of the Singer Company, a homemaker and member of the Freer Baptist Church since 1962. Mrs. Deboard was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Deboard, one son, Jimmy Deboard, one daughter, Mary Pogue Laughlin; three sisters; two brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Helen Whitlow of Mountain Home, Ellen Irene Goodwin of Wilmington, IL, and Judy Murray of Trumann; three sons, Grady Deboard of Trumann, James Deboard and David Deboard both of Huntingtown, MD; one sister, Lorene Deboard of Trumann; 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Constant and Rev. Bobby Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro. Pallbearers will be Grady Deboard, James Deboard, Michael Deboard, Wayne Deboard, Jeremy Deboard, Jimmy Stevens, Jim Furnish and Danyel Worsley.
